There is an Amazonian prophecy that tells of a time long ago when societies divided, taking two different paths. That of the Eagle, from the North; and that of the Condor, from the South..
The path of the Condor is the path of the heart and harmony, of intuition, and of the feminine. The path of the Eagle is the path of the mind and rationalism, of the industrial, and of the masculine.
The Eagle and Condor prophecy declared there would be a 500 year period during which the Eagle people would become powerful and dominant. During the next 500 year period, the opportunity would arise for the Eagle and the Condor to come together, to fly in the same sky, to create a new level of consciousness for humanity.
The symbolism of this prophecy in present day is becoming increasingly apparent. We have reached a crossroad, a modern day Rubicon, where society will decide if these two ways of life can learn from each other and work as one. Covid-19, Black Lives Matter, The Climate Crisis, gender equality and mental health & wellbeing are all trending news, serious issues we can’t ignore.
